Allergen Information
The 14 regulated allergens
Food information may identify: celery, cereals containing gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs, mustard, peanuts, sesame, soya, sulphur dioxide and sulphites, and tree nuts.
Before you pay
Item-specific allergen information must be available before an online purchase is completed. Use the allergen details shown with the product or ask staff for the current information. Recipes, brands and suppliers can change, so check each time you order.
Shared kitchen
Our kitchen and service areas handle multiple allergens. We use controls to reduce cross-contamination, but shared storage, preparation areas and equipment mean we cannot guarantee that any item is completely free from traces of an allergen.
Order notes and substitutions
Writing an allergy in an order note does not by itself confirm that the item can be prepared safely. Staff may need to speak to you before accepting or preparing the order. We will not make an ingredient substitution affecting an allergy without checking it is suitable.
When the food is served or collected
Allergen information must remain available when the food is supplied. Ask staff if you need the information repeated or if the order appears different from what was agreed.
Emergency
If someone is having a serious allergic reaction, call 999 immediately and follow the emergency advice given by the operator.
Contact
For an order-specific question, speak directly to café staff before purchasing. General enquiries can be emailed to hello@cherrytreegc.co.uk.
