Description

Cotinus coggygria 'Royal Purple' is a deciduous shrub admired for its striking deep purple foliage which holds its colour through the growing season. It produces fluffy, smoke-like flower panicles that add an ethereal presence to the garden.

Preferring full sun to part shade, it performs best in well-drained soil and can be an eye-catching specimen in shrub borders or mixed plantings. It requires minimal maintenance once established.
