Description
Enkianthus campanulatus is a deciduous shrub native to eastern Asia, noted for its elegant drooping bell-shaped flowers and spectacular autumn leaf colour. It makes a fine addition to acidic woodland gardens or mixed shrub borders.
This plant prefers a position in full sun to part shade with moist, well-drained acidic soil. Its growth is generally slow to moderate, offering multi-seasonal interest from spring flowers to rich fall tones.
