Description
Mahonia 'Volcano' is a striking evergreen shrub known for its architectural foliage and vibrant yellow flower clusters. It typically blooms in late autumn to winter, providing much-needed colour at a quieter time in the garden year. Its spiky, holly-like leaves are glossy and dark green, creating a bold contrast with the bright flowers.
This plant is quite hardy and adapts well to a variety of light conditions, preferring partial shade but also tolerating full sun areas. Its moderate growth rate and evergreen habit make it a good choice for year-round interest in mixed borders or as a specimen plant.
