Description

Physocarpus opulifolius 'All Black' is a deciduous shrub known for its dramatic dark purple to almost black foliage, which provides excellent contrast in the garden setting. In summer, it produces clusters of white flowers that can attract pollinators and brighten the darker leaves.

This plant is tolerant of a range of soil types and prefers full sun to encourage the best leaf colour. It is hardy and can be used effectively in borders or as a focal point in a mixed planting scheme, requiring moderate care for healthy growth.
